The View from Inside the Israeli Defense Force

Unlike the United States, where we enjoy the luxury of pretending that our soldiers fight for abstractions, in Israel, they know they're fighting for their lives. The governments terrible performance in Lebanon has enraged the professional soldiers within the IDF---one would not to be the next dirtbag terrorist to encounter a soldier bearing the Star of David on his uniform.

Now if only we'd let our angriest, meanest warriors take it to the enemy....
