The Summer of GOP Liberal Discontent

This is eminently predictable.

Republican "moderates" are Republicans in name only---they do not care for the gauche GOP platform nor the teeming hordes of uncouth conservatives; they only want political power. So long as the Republican Party is wielding the levers of power, great. When they're not, and when they fail to ascribe the reasons for electoral setbacks to not giving more power to party liberals, moderates contemplate returning to their natural ideological home---the Democrat Party.
