File Under: Not Fair
Guess what I ordered at the Pancake House the other night? Wheat germ pancakes with scrambled egg whites on the side anda Diet Coke. Guess what every one else ordered? Let's see... um, chocolate chip pancakes, blueberry pancakes, pecan pancakes, greasy ham and fried eggs, ham and cheese omelettes with buttermilk pancakes on the side... Grrrrr.
You've seen what I've been eating today -- and today is not a good representation of my usual fare. I exist on berries, lean protein, whole grains, tons of water and protein bars.
I work out at least 4 days a week for 45 sweat-laden, heart-pumping minutes at a time. AT LEAST. My resting heart rate is 58. I have incredible muscle mass for a chick. And I keep my calories at a reasonable limit.
But am I skinny? No. Am I perpetuallly 10 pounds over my ideal weight? Yup.
Can I eat much less and not get the shakes or a nasty headache? Nope. Do I have friends who eat more than I do and are skinnnneeeee?
