Getting Plastered

The Venetian plastering continues apace today, with great progress to report. The WC is plastered, with 2 coats of plaster up and the ceiling freshly painted. All that remains is burnishing with a fine sandpaper, putting on a protective topcoat, painting the trim, and installing the new fixtures. Piece of cake; should be done by Tuesday.

The rest of the bathroom has had 1 coat of Venetian plaster applied. I'll be putting up the second coat this afternoon, then burnish the WC. The rest of the process will follow as above.

Once the bathroom's done (should be this week), I'll likely turn to the master bedroom, which will in due course see the hideous builder's beige replaced with a warm cocoa color.

After that---back to the yard!
