BlogRoll: PoliBlogs

A couple of political commentary blogs have been added to the burgeoning BlogRoll:

Noonz Wire is a great blog which came to WordGirl's and my attention during the Blogathon. Alex Nunez serves up daily policulti commentary with that snarky edge we crave, in addition to providing excellent coverage of military issues, especially naval matters. Alex apparently has wide-ranging interests, as the potpourri of posts indicates.

MoltenThinker Vigilis hates lawyers. No, he really hates them. Like fire. They make him mad. Mean mad. And at Lawyer Kickers pro bono, he gets to bat them about like a cat playing with legless roaches. Any blog wherein lawyer is properly used as an epithet is aces with me. If you want to see more targets destroyed with disdain than even the legion of lawyers can provide, check out Vigilis' Molten Eagle blog, a proud addition to the Moltensphere.

Roger L. Simon likely needs no introduction to the MoltenThinkers. He's a Left Coast writer who offers up excellent policulti commentary from the unique viewpoint of a man inside the belly of the Hollywood beast.

In a similar vein, Patterico's Pontifications has been the single best resource for any schadenfreude connoisseurs who've relished the demise of the Los Angeles Times over the past few years. I don't read The L.A. Times, nor did I even when I lived in Orange County, but I simply cannot look away.

For decades, Brent Bozell's Media Research Center was about the only resource for conservatives to employ in exposing and countering bias in the LWM. I've watched Bozell and company get lapped by bloggers on major media scandals for a couple of years now, so the fact that they've finally gotten into the blogging game is a very good thing to my mind. Check out their new blog Newsbusters. They may be late to the game, but the MRC folks play it better than anybody.

Since I've banned Drudge thanks to his taking the wrong side in the War on Popups, I needed a new portal for my home page. Lo and behold, the Powerline guys come out with Powerline News, a fantastic portal to breaking news and the reaction to it from my favorite bloggers. The Blogosphere provides.

One of the featured bloggers on Powerline News is another old dog learning a new trick: Michael Barone. 'Nuff said.

Finally, there are few among the policulti bloggers who offer an essential service no one else provides. Radio Blogger offers fast transcripts of talk shows, which the rest of us then rip off mercilessly to score snark points.
