In Aslan We Trust
Blogging was nonexistent last night as WordGirl and I attended the local premiere of "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe."
WordGirl will have a thorough review up shortly, but all I have to say regarding this movie is that it is the second-best film I've seen this year, after "Serenity".
It is true to the C.S. Lewis book, looks amazing, is well-acted, and treats its subject without the knowing irony we've come to expect from Disney productions.
More to come, but if you've been holding off on seeing this for fear that Hollywood found some way to screw it up, don't.
Here's Rich Lowry.
And Frederica Matthews-Green.
And Catherine Seipp.
