Weekend Photoblogging - Churches Pt II
WordGirl and I continued our photography project this morning, dragging ourselves out of bed at a most ungodly hour to get some fresh shots. Click on any to enlarge.
Pt I of our little adventure may be found here.
Here's a little church we found out in the country. Anything can loom if you're flat on your bag taking its picture:

This next church disappointed a bit---usually they have a clever little hellfire-and-brimstone saying on the church sign to frighten the sinners into attending (one slightly nicer saying was, "Tithe if you love Jesus---anyone can honk"). Still, we did what we could:

Whoever the architect was for this church certainly didn't lack boldness:

WordGirl and I found this teeny-tiny little Baptist church off the main drag in a small town:

We really liked the angel out front:

Here's a shot I had to manipulate in Photoshop because the Lenten cross faded too much into the background:

We hope you enjoy our little experiment---hopefully, these will get better as our skills improve.
