Weekend Photoblogging - The Denver Zoo
Here's the first of WordGirl and my Colorado pictures. First up, the Denver Zoo.
Here's a low-light shot which benefitted from the slow shutter speed:

Not every zoo creature is a caged menace; some wander free:

Wonder if he's a Dodge fan:

The metaphor just leaps out of the frame:

Nice day for a swim:


Or for just copping a stare:


The next two shots amply illustrate the importance of the photographer's adage "Fill the frame":


The sea lions never fail to entertain:
