President Bush made a mistake of LBJ proportions when he elected to not put America on a wartime footing. Failing to mobilize Americans for war leads the appeasement wing of the country to decide we're not really at war, so the usual menu of sedition and treason is to be ordered from in their swank LWM bistros. Now the black-robed dementia cases of SCOTUS have decided they're hungry too.

None of this can be considered a surprise, except for Bush's unwillingness to do anything about it.
