One can only hope Fidel Castro is suffering miserably at the moment. His real torment will begin once his evil reign ends.

One hopes that George Bush is prepared to make a stand for democracy in Cuba, but I'm learning not to hope regarding the current administration's competence in supporting the march of freedom. There are far too many lifelong diplomats who love those nice junkets to dictatorships and the trinkets to be had by going whispering "nuance" and "caution" in Dubya's ear.
