Cheer Up, Republicans

The news isn't all bad.

Sure, the usual suspects over at Neocon Central are forecasting a bloodbath. They don't mention, of course, that listening to their lousy advice instead of the conservative base is what's led to this moment.

Monday morning quarterbacking is probably useless when the big game's played on Tuesday.

For conservatives, regardless of outcome tomorrow, this represents a long-awaited opportunity to stop letting RINOs set party policy.

Besides, we may yet keep both houses. Won't it be fun to watch Bill Kristol eat the ol' turd sandwich on TV then, before dispensing more lousy advice?

If the GOP does win, it will be because the pundits listened to pollsters who don't know what they're doing.

I will be up bright and early tomorrow to do my part.
