I scored a 32 out of 40. That's about where I figured I was. My distaste and distrust for the current batch of Republicans kept trying to bias my answers, but I think I answered honestly.
I like your blog, BTW. I've been reading it for over a year.

That particular quiz may do better at the extremes; I wonder what range would be considered mainstream conservatism versus mainstream liberal.
And I share your disgust with the GOP, ROPT. Not realizing that the LWM is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party leads to much of the stupidity we've seen from them. Katie Couric, Charlie Gibson, Brian Williams et al do not speak for America, and tailoring your policy agenda in the hope that one day they'll really like you despite the R-hyphen in front of your name is the hallmark of the fatally confused politician.
On the upside, though, Americans are about to get a reminder that San Francisco liberalism is about as far from the mainstream as you can get.
I agree with lanz--I didn't like most of the questions. My answers weren't there.
But Ha! I got a 14! I mean damn, Bill Clinton is more conservative than me? Hahahahahahahaha!

I wonder if females score less Conservative?????? Is that a dumb female question to ask?
I've often wondered if i'm a RINO. I'll admit for all to have a good laugh, i never even knew what the heck those initials meant until a short while ago, but i'm very accepting of alternative behaviour. I don't support it, mind you- but, i accept what people chose, even if i disagree. Unless it's one of my kids- then, i'll holler loud enogh for you all to hear.
Maybe it's because i never really paid much mind to politics until W's 1st election. I pretty much had my hands full of personal stuff before all that.
I've got a lot of catching up to do :0).

We don't have any ideological purity tests for MoltenThinker status. When WG and I began this blog, we wanted politics to be just one piece of it. Since I'm the cranky political piece of Molten Thought, what we really need to do is urge WordGirl to post more on culture and faith issues, which are her passions the way politics is mine.
I have nothing but respect for folks who read us despite the drubbing we try to give liberals (as opposed to those who read us because of it).
Once I'm made absolute dictator, however, reeducation will begin in earnest.
