The Saddest Fish In The World

This is Bobber. He is one of our nine fantail goldfish. He has a sensitive swim bladder which makes him prone to "gas buildup". The condition is pretty common in fantails (especially those bought at big box, pet stores) and is not harmful if treated properly. But he does spend a lot of time at the top of the tank... because in addition to his ravenous appetite for brine shrimp and baby peas, he also likes to eat air bubbles. *sigh* I think this picture may have been taken after a particularly harsh scolding from Tef.
