Catholics Cannot Vote for Obama
And obey Church teaching on morality, that is.
The formulation is quite simple:
The Catholic Church teaches that abortion is evil.
Obama is pro-abortion.
Voting for Obama is supporting evil.
As the Good Book and "Pale Rider" note, "You cannot serve God and Mammon both."
So which will it be, Catholics?

Try explaining that to Philly Catholics. The most recent letter to the editor I read this week made my blood boil--sneering at the pro-life advocacy from the parish and twisting the "Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship" information to raise promises to care for the poor to a morally grave reason to vote for him instead of a pro-life candidate--and insisting that a study done by Georgetown, "a Catholic [!] university," that says reducing poverty reduces abortions should be enough justification for Catholics. Ugh.
