Race Trumps Loyalty, Ideology, and Patriotism

Perhaps more people will now understand my distaste for Colin Powell.

Joe Lieberman could trump the oily timing of Powell's announcement by switching parties this week. He had better; the Democrats will likely not need his vote come January and won't honor his seniority with chairmanships.
