Exploiting Dead American Soldiers for Votes

A few months back, there was a big brouhaha over allowing flag-draped coffins of American servicemen killed in Iraq to be filmed upon their return to the States. When various folks on the Right pointed out that the Left simply wanted the footage for propaganda purposes, they claimed we were being paranoid.

As Bulldog Pundit amply demonstrates, we were right all along: the dirtbag Democrats have incorporated footage of our fallen warriors into their campaign ads.

We would ask if Democrats have even a shred of decency or patriotism left, but we all know the answer to that question.

At least now we know where the Democrats stand on the issue of soldiers taking part in our political process: don't let 'em vote while alive (see Clinton's removal of voting booths from overseas military bases and Algore's throwing out absentee military ballots in 2000) but exploit 'em in propaganda posthumously.

A new low for a party which couldn't sink any lower without hitting magma.
