I have said it before, and I'll say it again: the Baby Boomers are simply the most self-absorbed, solipsistic generation to thus far emerge. The damage they have wrought on our society and on their own children is enormous.

That's not to say everyone born between 1946 and 1964 typifies this generation, just that they have far more than their share of these sorts of deeply destructive people. And unfortunately, they tend to have exerted the most influence.
