Your Principles Or Your Life

That's an easy one for journalists, sayeth Mark Steyn:

Did you see that video of the two Fox journalists announcing they'd converted to Islam? The larger problem, it seems to me, is that much of the rest of the Western media have also converted to Islam, and there seems to be no way to get them to convert back to journalism.

No one expected Centanni and Wiig to become Christian martyrs (I have no idea whether either is a Christian); after all, it took devoted apostles a couple of tries to get it right.

What one might have expected was a little less concern that Western journalists might somehow fail to tell the "wonderful story" about the Palestinian people and more that concern that giving the terrorists the valuable propaganda they desired would hurt the effort to end terrorism.

But then that's not so "wonderful" a story, is it?
