Our Worst Fears, Realized

We must always be careful with pronouncements from Iran, liars all, but if true this would explain the recent uncharacteristic weakness from Bush:

Iran claims to be a nuclear power.

Oh, and by the way, Ahmadinejad is now promising the U.S. and Britain too will "vanish" soon.

This is 1938 all over again, only this time the Nazis have nukes.

Thanks, Republicans, for focusing on padding your pockets instead of national security.

Thanks, Democrats, for never failing to undermine America and for making it nearly impossible to attack our enemies.

If Iran uses this capability to incinerate thousands of Israelis, Americans, and/or Brits, may their blood be on your hands as well, damn your eyes.
