Your Eeyore Reflection of the Week
Barring a successful Al Qaeda attack or Iranian nuclear strike on Israel of the U.S. prior to next November, Hillary Rodham Clinton will be the next President of the United States with a strong Democrat majority in the House and in the Senate.
I don't see anything out there to indicate otherwise.
Democrats have all the momentum. Republicans are demoralized and disheartened, and are not fielding strong candidates to replace those retiring or driven from office.
Moreover, the prospect of a female president will be too tempting for our enemies.
Shortly after she takes office, they will seek to test her.
If Iran has a nuclear weapon, they will test her by having one of their proxies detonate one in Israel, in the U.S., or both.

Let's hope Hillary receives her party's nomination. Her most promising running mate pick would be another lawyer, B. Hussein Obama. That is one problem for the lady from Park Ridge, Illinois and her putative running mate (Illinois Senate 1997-2004; U.S. Senator from Illinois 2003). What a balanced ticket - two senate LAWYERS from Illinois!
We are all deluged constantly by negative media on hopeless opposition to Hillary, as well as purposeful propaganda by her HUGE lawyer coterie. What is missing in this, Teflon?
Before succumbing, consider that the ammunition against Hillary (the damning, damaging stuff) has not yet been unleashed. Its still much too early. Do not be surprised to see facts we have not heard yet, as well as European opinions with solid merit against her candidacy.
Independents have yet to weigh in.
Dangerous intellectuals like Newt know better than to express their own opinions, so proxies will certainly step forward. (What is Lieberman up to these days?)
Hillary will be brought down to what she really is - not the brightest woman in the room, but the biggest female opportunist in modern history.
And, oh, have I mentioned her musically-zippered husband, yet? It will only take a little more depressing news, post-menopausal disgust, and some of her contrasting quotes to keep hordes of Hillary's emotional followers home on election day.
Other than that, Hillary would make a fine head of the ABA.
You and I will probably influence no one's emotional choice. However, some pretty influential people have been reading my blog, so I know even more are reading yours. It ain't over yet!
Cheers, -Vigilis
Let's hope so, Vig. Right now Hillary's the only one who seems to know how the presidential game is played. On that 1st Tuesday in November, that typically counts for a lot.
