America Continues To Run Away from Tehran

The mullahs have been killing Americans for 30 years. We have yet to do a damned thing about it.

Since we keep catching Iranians and their equipment in Iraq, this is a howler:

Pentagon leaders have said they would not rule out military action against Iran. But it is not uncommon for U.S. civilian and military leaders to leave "all options on the table," in an often-used phrase, because to rule out military action in advance is seen as admitting a lack of resolve.

Better not let the White House, State Department, or CIA find out about this---all three clearly believe that the nation which destroyed the twin menaces of fascism and Communism is completely incapable of taking on the mighty speedboats of Iran.

We are going to find out how thoroughly the Iranian Intelligence Service has compromised our national security apparatus over the next decade. Will we have the will to do anything about it? Given that Harry Dexter White, Stalinist plant, didn't die in jail or hang from the neck until dead after a treason trial is the best indication the answer is, "Nope."
